Privacy notice
NHScore is private by default: the Tampa quiz works without an account, email address, or phone number.
- Your quiz answers and results stay in your browser until you choose an optional contact action.
- Emailing results does not subscribe you to marketing.
- A local-professional request is shared only after specific consent and is routed to at most one active market sponsor.
- NHScore does not sell or auction contact requests to multiple professionals.
1. Who we are
NHScore is operated by The Neighborhood Score, Inc. (“NHScore,” “we,” “us”). Questions and privacy requests can be sent to mickey@nhscore.com.
2. Information we collect
Quiz use
The quiz stores answers, a model version, top matches, and a creation time in your browser’s local storage. NHScore receives non-identifying funnel events such as page viewed, quiz started, question answered, and quiz completed. Event data does not include quiz answers, contact information, or a persistent advertising identifier.
Emailing results
If you ask us to email your results, we collect your email address, market, top matches, consent wording and version, and delivery status. This is used to send the requested message, prevent abuse, and maintain a delivery record.
Requesting a local professional
If you request help, we collect the details shown in the form: usually name, email, optional phone, contact preference, timing, optional note, market, top matches, and the exact consent version and time. We do not collect the rest of your quiz answers unless the form expressly says they will be included.
Sponsors and waitlists
We collect sponsor identity, business and licensing information, profile content, market, billing identifiers from Stripe, subscription status, and service communications. Stripe processes payment-card information; NHScore does not receive full card numbers.
Technical and security data
Our server may process IP address, user agent, request time, and security signals. Rate-limit records store a keyed hash rather than a raw IP address. Standard server logs may temporarily contain IP addresses.
3. How we use information
We use information to deliver requested results, route a requested introduction, operate subscriptions, publish approved sponsor profiles, answer support requests, measure aggregate product performance, prevent fraud and spam, comply with law, and improve NHScore.
4. When we share information
When you explicitly request a local professional and an active sponsor is available, we share the submitted contact details, timing, note, market, and top matches with that single sponsor. The sponsor is an independent business and handles the introduction under its own privacy obligations. We also use service providers for hosting, email delivery, payments, and security. We may disclose information when legally required or in a business transfer subject to appropriate protections.
We do not sell contact information for cross-context behavioral advertising and do not send one request to competing buyers.
5. Retention
Local quiz data remains in your browser until you clear site data. Requested-results delivery records are generally retained up to 180 days. Unmatched professional requests are generally retained up to 180 days; routed requests and sponsor delivery records may be retained up to 365 days for accountability. Sponsor billing, contractual, security, or legally required records may be kept longer. Aggregate statistics that no longer identify a person may be retained.
6. Cookies and local storage
NHScore uses a short-lived, first-party session cookie for form security and local storage for quiz continuity. We do not currently run third-party behavioral advertising pixels. If that changes, this notice and any required choices will be updated before activation.
7. Your choices
You can use the guide and quiz without submitting contact information. You can clear quiz results through browser site-data controls. You can unsubscribe from market-availability messages at nhscore.com/unsubscribe/. To request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with your email, contact mickey@nhscore.com. Rights vary by location and may have legal exceptions.
8. Children
NHScore is intended for adults making housing decisions and is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit a child’s contact information.
9. Security
We use access controls, prepared database queries, encrypted transport, rate limits, minimal collection, and configuration kept outside the public web root. No online service can promise absolute security.
10. Changes
We will post material changes here and update the effective date. A change to introduction sharing will not retroactively expand a consent you already gave.
